The political arena witnessed fiery rhetoric as Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut launched scathing remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, asserting that Modi harbors fear towards Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Raut's statements, made on Monday, added fuel to the ongoing controversy surrounding Kejriwal's arrest and subsequent developments.

Raut emphasized Kejriwal's perceived potency, branding him as "more dangerous" post-arrest and suggesting that the Chief Minister's influence would only amplify from behind bars. He announced plans for an upcoming protest rally at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi under the banner of the INDIA alliance, signaling solidarity among opposition leaders.

"The INDIA alliance is organizing a protest rally at Ramlila Maidan, Delhi. We all will attend that rally... PM Modi is afraid of Arvind Kejriwal," Raut declared, stirring anticipation for a potentially confrontational showdown.

The controversy surrounding Kejriwal stems from his involvement in a money laundering case related to the now-repealed Delhi excise policy 2021-22. Amid ongoing investigations by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Kejriwal's ability to govern from jail has come under scrutiny.

AAP leader Atishi reiterated the party's stance, asserting that Kejriwal would continue his duties as Delhi CM despite his incarceration. The party's intention to seek an urgent hearing in the Supreme Court underscores their determination to navigate legal challenges while maintaining governance.

The ED's allegations regarding the excise policy "scam" and Kejriwal's alleged role as a key conspirator have fueled political tensions, with AAP labeling the investigations as "political vendetta" orchestrated by the BJP-led central government.

As the political landscape bristles with anticipation, the planned protest rally and legal maneuvers signal a protracted battle between opposition forces and the ruling establishment. The coming days are poised to witness intensified rhetoric, legal maneuvering, and public demonstrations, underscoring the high-stakes nature of contemporary Indian politics.
